ROMAN FORUM / PALLATINO
According to Roman mythology, the Palatine Hill was the location of the cave - known as the Lupercal - where Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf that kept them alive. The Roman Forum (Forum Romanum) was the political and economical centre of Rome. The importance of the Forum area is indicated by the presence of many of the central political, religious and judicial buildings in Rome.
GERMAN PAVILION IN BCN..not to be missed

The Barcelona Pavilion, a work emblematic of the Modern Movement.
It was designed by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe as the German national pavilion for the 1929 Barcelona International exhibition.
Materials:
Glass, steel and four different kinds of marble (Roman travertine, green Alpine marble, ancient green marble from Greece and golden onyx from the Atlas Mountains) were used for the reconstruction, all of the same characteristics and provenance as the ones originally employed by Mies in 1929.
BARCELONA Holy Family the works remain...

Sagrada Família ( Holy Family ), is a massive Roman catholic church under construction in Barcelona. I went there last time in 2003, with a couple of friends. As you can see at the pictures, the works were in a fairly developed stage. The cathedral completion will be made through the overthrow of an entire housing block for beeing extended.
